• The Street View feature of Google Earth and Google Maps allows you to navigate the streets of supported areas by panning and clicking through a series of panoramic photographs. These photographs were taken at regular distance intervals by a Google camera vehicle.

In Mexico, first reports of sightings came in from Tijuana in July 2007 making the first city in Latin America and now Google Street View cars are being spotted in many Mexican states. On November 9, 2009, Street View was made available in cities of Mexico, including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Cancún and Puerto Vallarta.

With the addition of Hawaii, all fifty states are now represented in Street View. On July 2, 2013, high-definition images, at least 99% of which has been taken since early 2011, were added to major portions of all fifty states, including those that have had no HD images up to that point.

On November 9, 2009, parts of Hawaii were added, and coverage of the United States was also further expanded, although some key areas had yet to be added. With the addition of Hawaii, all fifty states are now represented in Street View.

Where Can You View Live Satellite Images of Your House? While it is possible to view live satellite images of hemispheres of the earth, it is not possible to view live satellite images of your own home or of any other specific location on earth, for that matter.

There many different sources of live (or close to ~ 15 min) satellite imagery. Most of them come from geostationary satellites for weather monitoring purposes. They are precise enough that you can distinguish land and sea, and the outline of the Great Lakes. Not so much that you can see city streets or houses.

To download recent satellite images free, you just need to add them to the cart. Analysis. There are no analytical tools or even image visualization on a map. Google Earth Engine allows observation of dynamic changes in agriculture, natural resources, and climate using geospatial data from the Landsat satellite program, which passes over the same places on the Earth every sixteen days.

• During one half of the orbit, the satellite views the daytime side of the Earth. At the pole, satellite crosses over to the nighttime side of Earth. As the satellites orbit, the Earth turns underneath. By the time the satellite crosses back into daylight, it is over the region adjacent to the area seen in its last orbit.
